This was the most underhanded and dishonest management company I have ever rented from. When it comes time to vacate, they will charge the renter for every single item they can target or INVENT. A co-worker vacated with a 30 day notice, and because she turned-in her notice at 4:55 pm, her notice letter wasn't opened till 10 am the next day. It was then considered a 29 day notice and she was charged another 30 days even though she moved out within 30 days. After moving out, the walk through determination was postponed until AFTER she left and when she received it in the mail, it was 120 days later and only $50 of her $750 deposit was returned. The apt was professionally cleaned and she was still charged for a full cleaning, carpet cleaning, and "repairs" which were NEVER disclosed on the refund. I was charged for "scum" on the shower walls, even though a person could see their reflection. I was also charged for a dusty closet rack, eventhough after the maintenance manager couldn't find any dust on his rag after swiping it. The building construction is substandard and if you don't rent a top floor unit, you will hear EVERYTHING in the apartment above including bathroom noise, late-night "dates" and walking from room-to-room. I could go on, but when 27 units voluntarily vacated in the same month I did, it speaks for itself ... Even the apartment workers said it was the most EVER in the history of the complex. There are better alternatives, so do your homework and stay away from The Ridge of "BlackEYE".
